Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church

The church was built by the noble Draganić family and is a splendid example of Baroque architecture, constructed in the 18th century on the foundations of an older church from 1506. Located in the heart of the old town, the church stands out with its lavish façade and beautiful details. The front of the church features a statue of the angel Gabriel, a work by Bonino da Milano. This statue, along with the statue of the Virgin Mary at St. George's Cemetery, likely belonged to the composition of the Annunciation and originally stood on columns next to the western portal of the Šibenik Cathedral. The interior of the church is adorned with valuable artworks, with the magnificent altars being particularly noteworthy, adorned with rich details.
