Tourist Board Pirovac, with the support of the Municipality of Pirovac, is delighted to announce the "Lito in Pirovac 2025" program – a rich and diverse event that will offer nearly fifty activities across multiple locations in Pirovac during the three summer months. The program will run from June 21st to September 14th and includes cultural, music, entertainment, and sports events for all ages and tastes.
Pirovac's summer will be marked by numerous traditional events organized by local associations and individuals, including the Choir Meeting, Klapa Gathering, Klapa-Song Evening, Presentation of Wedding Customs by KUU Bezdan, the unique Musician's Kitchen, Donkey Races, and Picnic in the Olive Grove. These heritage and community preservation programs are especially important for the local identity and are an essential part of the summer atmosphere.
For those who love entertainment, unforgettable summer celebrations await, bringing a true Mediterranean buzz and relaxed atmosphere to Pirovac. A highlight is the "Pirovačka Feast," the culmination of the summer with a concert by Neno Belan & Fiumensa, which attracts visitors from all over. There are also two traditional Fishermen's Feasts – the first with Giuliano and Diktatori, and the second with a spectacular performance by the Croatian Navy's Sv. Juraj Club – bringing the scent of the sea, grilled fish, and Dalmatian songs to the heart of the town. The festive celebration of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian Veterans Day will take place on August 4th and 5th, celebrated with pride, including a morning wake-up call and an evening concert by the legendary Daleka Obala, blending emotion, music, and togetherness under the summer starry sky.
The festival program is especially noteworthy, making Pirovac unique in the entire Šibenik-Knin County, as it hosts three thematic festivals: the Pirovac Blues Festival, bringing together lovers of top-quality blues music; the Pirovac Beer Fest, dedicated to craft beer and music; and the Pirovac Film Festival, with outdoor film screenings in the square.
For food enthusiasts, there's a diverse gastronomic program: "Taste Like... Marenda" brings Dalmatian breakfast to the town center, and the Musician's Kitchen is a brass band competition in a pot. Three Olive and Olive Oil Evenings combine tastings and education by local producers, while the "Pirovac Olives You" farm fair offers local products from Pirovac farms. The sweet finale is secured with an Evening of Folklore and Local Sweets, featuring fritule, kroštule, and songs and dances in the rhythm of tradition.
Young visitors will enjoy a specially designed children's program, including art workshops, puppet and ballet performances, fun games, workshops, and magic shows – perfect for a family outing and creating beautiful memories.
Sports enthusiasts can participate in or cheer for the Bocce Tournament, the traditional Donkey Races, and other sporting events promoting community, recreation, and a healthy lifestyle.
"Lito in Pirovac 2025" brings a rich and diverse program, aiming for everyone to find something for themselves – whether it’s music, dance, gastronomy, culture, tradition, art, or recreation. We invite all local and foreign guests, visitors, travelers, and friends of Pirovac to join us, visit our waterfront, squares, and olive groves, and enjoy an unforgettable summer filled with experiences.
