Experience the Pirovac Carnival – Masks, Music and Fun in February

February in Pirovac is all about color, laughter and tradition. Join us for the Pirovac Carnival, a joyful local celebration filled with masks, a lively parade, music and great atmosphere.

The festivities take place on Friday, February 13, starting at 4:00 PM. The program begins with a gathering of masked participants at the "Stara Riva", followed by a cheerful carnival parade at 4:30 PM, bringing the streets of Pirovac to life with creative costumes and festive spirit.

At 5:30 PM, visitors can experience a unique local tradition – the reading of the carnival will and the burning of “Grga”, a symbolic ritual marking the end of all the bad things from the past year. At 6:00 PM, everyone is invited to enjoy free traditional doughnuts, while children can have fun with inflatable attractions and a special kids’ program.

The evening continues with music and dancing from 8:00 PM in the main tent, featuring the popular Zaratino Band and a DJ. A raffle and awards for the best individual and group costumes will add even more excitement to the night.

The Pirovac Carnival is organized by the Pirovac Youth Association with the support of the Municipality of Pirovac and the Pirovac Tourist Board.

Visitors and locals alike are warmly invited to put on a mask, join the celebration and experience an authentic Dalmatian carnival atmosphere in Pirovac.
