Summer in Pirovac 2025. – First Program Announcement

Once again this year, Pirovac will become a stage for numerous events throughout the summer, under the collective title Summer in Pirovac 2025. Organized by the Pirovac Municipality Tourist Board, the Municipality of Pirovac, local associations, and individuals, a rich, diverse, and dynamic program has been prepared. It includes musical evenings, cultural events, sports competitions, traditional customs, and culinary experiences.

Here is the first announcement of part of this year’s program:

June 21 – Choir Gathering
A musical evening featuring choirs from various parts of Dalmatia. The audience can expect a diverse repertoire and impressive performances in the unique setting of the waterfront.

June 28 – Evening of Olives and Olive Oil
An event dedicated to the olive, a symbol of Mediterranean identity. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste top-quality oils and learn more about local production and the tradition of olive growing.

July 4 – Taste Like... Marenda
A fusion of tradition and modern gastronomy. Visitors can enjoy authentic local bites with a contemporary twist.

July 10 – Fishermen’s Night #1 with Giuliano and Diktatori
A traditional fishermen’s evening with live music and a rich offering of seafood dishes. Giuliano and Diktatori bring an energetic concert and the true atmosphere of a Dalmatian fiesta.

July 19 – Donkey Races
A unique and beloved event that draws many visitors. The donkey races blend humor, local spirit, and traditional competitive character.

July 23–29 – Bocce Tournament
A multi-day sports event that brings together amateur players and bocce enthusiasts. Held at the local bocce court, the tournament includes daily gatherings and a supporting program.

July 25 & 26 – Pirovac Blues Fest
Two nights of top-tier open-air blues music. Featuring both local and international performers, the festival draws an ever-growing audience each year.

August 5 – Victory Day Celebration with Daleka Obala
Celebrate Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day with a major concert by Daleka Obala. An emotional evening filled with beloved hits and patriotic spirit.

August 9 – Dalmatian Klapa Night
An evening dedicated to the tradition of Dalmatian klapa singing. Vocal groups from across the region perform in an authentic seaside setting, offering a heartfelt musical experience.

September 14 – Picnic in the Olive Grove
A relaxed and meaningful close to the summer program. The event features local delicacies, mellow live music, and time spent in nature, in an olive grove in the Pirovac hinterland.
