Full Program of Advent in Pirovac 2025

Pirovac once again transforms into a place filled with lights, festive scents, and holiday spirit. From December 6th to December 31st, locals and visitors can enjoy a rich and diverse Advent program featuring concerts, workshops, performances, and magical gatherings by the holiday booths, which open at 5 PM on event days.

Advent begins on December 6th with the special arrival of St. Nicholas by boat, a moment sure to delight the youngest. Alongside this, there will be a creative workshop for making Christmas wreaths, and the evening will be rounded off by DJ Vlado.

On December 13th, children can look forward to a performance by the Mendula Kindergarten, followed by another imaginative workshop for making Christmas decorations with Aunt Kata. The evening will end with a performance by the popular group Amigosi.

The central Advent weekend, December 20th, brings a varied program: a cookie-making workshop, goulash prepared by the Kamenjarka Hunting Association, and the festive Christmas and New Year concert by KUD Bezdan in the cinema hall. The celebration continues in the evening with music by the band Treći kat.

A day later, on December 21st, the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will host a special concert by the St. Juraj Choir, which traditionally brings a sense of spiritual warmth to the holiday season.

On Christmas Eve, December 24th, traditional cod will be served in the town center—one of Pirovac’s favorite customs that brings together locals and visitors.

The festive atmosphere continues on December 26th, when the Pirovac Brass Orchestra performs its traditional concert in the cinema hall.

A particularly magical day awaits on December 27th — children’s live nativity scenes by the booths, followed by a snowy workshop in the cinema hall, and an evening concert by the group Zaratino.

We will conclude Advent on December 31st with a joyful celebration for children at Bezdan Square, featuring a Kids’ New Year’s Eve countdown and DJ Mirabel starting at 11 AM.

From December 19th to 21st, Santa Claus will also stroll through Pirovac, bringing extra joy to the children and creating unforgettable holiday moments.

The Advent in Pirovac program is organized by the local initiative Advent in Pirovac in cooperation with the Municipality of Pirovac, the municipal company Vrilo, Santa Claus, and the Mendula Kindergarten, with the support of numerous sponsors and donors who made this year’s rich program possible.
